Meet The Visionary…

Life is a lifelong journey of LEARNING.

ā€Learning is the bridge between who we are now and who we have the potential to become. It’s the fuel that propels us forward, turning dreams into achievable goals. Embracing the lifelong journey of learning is acknowledging the boundless possibilities that life offers.ā€

We believe that the sky is the limit, and we live by the quote: ā€œThere are five important things for living a successful and fulfilling life; never stop dreaming, never stop believing, never give up, never stop trying, and never stop learning.ā€

The Learnery’s aim is to educate the heart through life courses that benefit teachers, entrepreneurs, parents, and young students alike. The journey in these various avenues of life has been walked and the hope and goal is to make the journey easier and more enjoyable for you.ā€

Thank you for joining us on your professional learning journey. We are excited to embark on this educational adventure together with you!

Meet Charene

I’m Charene, and on most days, you’ll find me with a flat white in hand, ready to conquer the world! As a Type 7 personality, I thrive on adventure, easily get bored, and am constantly seeking new and exciting projects. With over 14 years of experience in the education field, teaching remains my greatest passion. I am not only the Co-Founder but also the Principal of Archers College, a school based in Johannesburg, South Africa, that I started over 14 years ago.

Being the person for others that I wished I had when starting my entrepreneurial journey is something I truly enjoy; hence, The Learnery was born. My vision is to share as much of my experiences as possible through courses, materials, and resources that will greatly enhance your experience, be it as a parent, a young student, a newbie teacher, an experienced teacher, or an entrepreneur.

I am deeply passionate about learning and always have been. I am constantly reading something new, something I can apply to what I do every day. I am always engaged in some form of professional development, constantly seeking ways to enhance what I do and what I bring to my school, which I passionately run. As much as I love learning, I love sharing, and I look forward to sharing as much as I possibly can—making it as REAL and RELATABLE as I can.

In a publication I recently read entitled ā€œFind Your Whyā€ by Simon Sinek, I came across the following quote that resonated with me: ā€œYour goal is not simply to cross the finish line, but to see how many people you can inspire to run with you.ā€ I hope to inspire you to run this race with me!
